To find : Probability of roll greater than 4

Solution:

A fair 6 sides dice has numbers

from 1 to 6

S = { 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 4 , 5 , 6 }

n(S) = 6

Expected event   greater than 4  

A = { 5 , 6 }

n(A) = 2

Probability of  roll greater than 4   = n(A)/n(S)

= 2/6

= 1/3

1/3 is the probability that roll greater than 4
