MATERIALS REQUIRED: ADJUSTMENT MIRROR, A WELL CONSTRUCTED PRISM, A POLYCHROMATIC LIGHT SOURCE (light from sun), AND WHITE WALL

PROCEDURE: THE ADJUSTMENT MIRROR IS ADJUSTED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT REFLECTS A SINGLE RAY OF LIGHT IN RECTILINEAR PATH THROUGH THE NARROW HOLE IN WINDOW.

A PRISM IS KEPT IN BETWEEN OF NARROW HOLE AND THE WALL

OBSERVATION:

IT IS OBSERVED THAT AFTER PASSING THROUGH PRISM THE SINGLE WHITE RAYVOF LIGHT IS SPLITTED INTO DIFFERENT COLOUR AND IT APPEARS IN WALL

CONCLUSION: HENCE WE PERFORMED THE DISPERSION OF LIGHT IN WHITE WALL
