Visiting a villege of our city to be a part of theatre group to conduct plays for awareness about the swachch Bharat Mission ,describing experience with your grandfather is given below

Explanation:

1.The much-awaited 6th Natyam National Theatre Festival began today in the city. The festival is being organised by the Natyam Theatre Group Jaito in collaboration with the North Zone Culture Centre, Sangeet Natak Akademi and the Ministry of Culture.

2.On the first day of the festival, a street play, focusing on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, presented by director Kirti Kirpal of Natyam Group. The play, ‘Jahan Safai Vahan Khudia’, was written by Shaminder Singh. Eight actors presented the play at various areas of the city, including Dhobi Bazar, Sadbhawna Chowk, Mehna Chowk, Railway Road and Railway Station.

3.Elaborating on the concept of the street play, Kirpal said, “The play focuses on the need for cleanliness in our surroundings. It inspires the people not only to clean their houses, but also keep their surroundings clean. Through their actions, the actors tell the viewers that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan launched by the Union government would be a success only if we stop throwing trash outside the streets and in empty plots to keep our houses clean.”

4.He said the street plays leave a great impact on the viewers since the viewers are passersby, who stop to watch the play when they are not expecting to be waylaid by something artistic on a normal day.

My dear grandpa,

How are you doing? I hope you are doing okay.

I want to tell you about the amazing experience that i had last week. As a part of our drama group's outreach program, we had gone to the village in the border of Delhi and Haryana, with the aim to spread awareness about the "Swachh Bharat".

I have never been to that side so I was excited to be there. Once done with the performance, we also gave them some household needs, telling them how to keep their houses and surroundings clean. They were just living in a pile of garbage that were dumped by the trucks from the cities, and they were accustomed to the smell too. We found it hard to be there at first but as we stayed longer, our senses get used to it. I saw how they were prone to diseases, and how it is also partly our fault, dumping our wastes in their residences.

It was hard to imagine a life there but they seem to be used to it. We taught them the need to stay clean, and also taught them the numerous ways they can prevent themselves from contracting any illness/ disease.

The experience was something that will impact me for a long time. I had never imagined someone living in such conditions, but the first-hand experience of that living space had proven me wrong. Now, I know what it feels like to be living in that condition, and how I need to contribute to the betterment of their living conditions.

I only hope that I can make a difference in their lives, one way or the other.

Love you Grandpa, and I hope that you can advise me regarding this issue, and help me find ways to help those in need.

Take care, will see you soon.

Love, .........
