Father: What are your plans after the graduation?

I: Father, I honestly want to start earning. I want to lend a helping hand in shouldering the financial responsibilities. I will continue to study; I will do my MSc in Physics through Distant Learning from IGNOU.

Father: Son, I want you to focus on your studies only. We can afford to send you to college for MSc. You don’t need to start working now. However, you can start earning a little bit for yourself by giving tuitions after your college.

Son: That will be wonderful. To be honest I wanted to do my MSc and then PhD. I really want to be a professor in college.

Mother: Son, it was so thoughtful of you to decide to work; but we also want you to secure a reputable career. We have saved some money for the purpose.

Son: Thanks father; thanks mother. You have really brought me out of a conflict. I promise I will study very hard and bring laurels to the family.

Father: Hello How are you?
Me: I am good dad there is something I want to discuss

Father: Yes I also want to discuss something.
Me: Yes it is regarding what I will be doing after graduation I know you also wanted to talk to me about this.

Father: Yes. So what are your plans?
Me: I want to work for a good MNC.

Father: That is a good plan but I wanted you to join my business.
Me: Dad I know how important your business is for you and it is for me too I am not saying I will not handle it but if I work in an MNC where I will be having more exposure to things and I will learn more.

Father: Yes that makes sense but I want you to handle my business as I can only count on you.
Me: I understand I just want to work with a good company for a year or two then I will join your business.

Father: OK, this makes sense. Best of luck with it.
Me: Thank you so much dad for being understanding.
