Your friend is very shy and dose not take part in extra caricular activities or sports .his parents are worried that he doesnot mix with others but studies all the time with your partner discuss wht might be the reason for this and what you can say or do to encourage your friend to interact with others

it could be he is shy and stressed. he does not have any friends. i would make friend with him and then i would encourage him to do co curricular activities.
