Your Future Depends on your Aspiration
One’s aspirations work as compass and fuel in providing direction and forward push in one’s life. Goals and aspirations keep one focused not allowing them to waste their time, resources, and energies on trivialities.
On the other hand, a man or woman without aspirations is prone to distractions and not achieving much in life. All great achievers in the history of mankind have been people who always kept their focus on their aspirations. People like Lincoln, Helen Keller, Einstein, Swami Vivekananda, Dr. Abdul Kalam, and many more like them had grand aspirations that gave them impetus to do great things in life.
The universal law of attraction gets activated when we keep our focus on our goals and aspirations. We attract new opportunities and people who further push us forward in the direction of realizing our goals and aspirations.
One’s future can be predicted by one’s aspirations. A successful man has aspirations; but an ordinary man has no aspirations. A life without aspirations and goals is a directionless life. In such a life most things happen haphazardly.
So it is always wise to live one’s life in the direction of one’s aspirations and goals.

Your future depends upon aspirations
Having an aspiration in life is important for every person. It gives meaning to life. Robert Bryne once observed, “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” In order to get somewhere, you need to define your end goal. A life without a purpose is a life without a destination.
I aspire to become a teacher. Teaching is a noble and self sacrificing profession. By teaching the younger generation teachers know that they are building a better future for our society and our nation. When I become a teacher, I will always teach the children good discipline, good manners, healthy and hygienic habits and moral values so that they can become good citizens of the country. School dropouts become a liability to the nation. I will endeavour to change this by ending dropouts so that each of the students will become great assets to our nation.
Teaching is truly a rewarding career. Teaching has always been considered as the most sacred, noble and exciting profession. In India, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of the second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, on the 5th of September. Radhakrishnan was a great scholar and an excellent teacher admired by many for his contribution in the field of education. His birthday, thus, is an ideal day to acknowledge and appreciate our teachers. Every year, students all over the country show their gratitude towards their teachers on this special occasion.
Teaching is not only about text books and note books and giving homeworks. A teacher has many unspoken and unwritten responsibilities and obligations for the students. I know that I must be a compassionate, helpful and an understanding teacher. I will teach my students to be hardworking, honest, sincere, confident, and have a positive mind so that they can succeed and achieve the aspirations they have chosen.
Parents and teachers often make the mistake of deciding what their children should choose as a career. I will be the teacher and the career guide for my students. I will encourage them to express their interest and their aspirations and give the guidance accordingly. It is not my choice but their own interests and choices that matter. The role of a teacher is to guide them properly in their aspirations.
People today choose careers which offer more money and lots of perks. I have make up my mind not to be ruled by materialism but to be different in order to make a positive difference in the community, the society, and the nation as a whole.
