Dear Diary:

Living in a joint family is a blessing. Joys get multiplied; and sorrows get divided. My grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins make our home look like a place of celebration. We celebrate all the festivals together which makes it exceedingly full of fun and frolic.  

Recently, we celebrated the festival of Diwali together. We lighted the house; we went for shopping; we did the worship of goddess Lakshmi and ate the delicious sweets and dishes together. Letting off fire-crackers was the culmination of our happiness. I feel if I would be living in a nuclear family, I would not enjoy half as much.
