Crystals of zinc acetate dihydrate, Zn(CHaCOO)~. 2H20, are monoclinic with space group C2/c. The unit cell, of dimensions a = 14.50, b ---- 5.32, c ---- 11.02 /~, fl ---- 100� 0', contains only four formula units. The zinc atoms lie on twofold axes.
