Answer:

The principal is ₹ 1472.72.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the sum of money i.e., principal be x

Amount = 810

Therefore, Interest = Amount - Principal

= 810 - x

Principal = S.I × 100 / R × T

X. = 810 - x × 100 / 9 × 6

= 810 - x × 100 / 54

54x = 810 - x × 100

55x = 810 × 100

55x = 81000

X = 81000 / 55 = 1472.72(answer).

As per the data give in the above question.

It is given that the rate of interest is 9%

Year of SI is 6 year,

Simple interest is Rs.810

We have to find the sum of money.

Thus, we have to calculate the money by Formula of SI,

SI=\frac{PRT}{100} \\SI\times 100=PRT\\\frac{SI\times 100}{RT}=P\\P=\frac{SI\times 100}{RT}

Put the value in above equation we get,

P=\frac{810\times100}{9 \times 6}\\\\P=\frac{81000}{54} \\P=Rs.1500

Hence the sum of money lent is Rs.1500
