-4x + 5y =7 ---- (2)
Adding equations 1 & 2 we get : 4y = 12
So y = 12/4 = 3
Substituting y = 3 in equation 1 , we get 4x - 3 = 5
4x = 8
x = 4/8 = 2
Hence solved . x = 2 & y = 3
If you draw a graph for the equations , you will get two straight lines . The co-ordinates of the point of intersection of the two lines will be the solution. THE CO-ORDINATES WILL BE (2,3)
