14. A dealer in Delhi buys an article for 16000 from a wholesaler in Delhi. He sells the
article to a consumer in Rajasthan at a profit of 25%. If the rate of GST is 5%, find:
a) the tax (under GST) paid by the wholesaler to Governments.
(i) the tax (under GST) paid by the dealer to the Government.
(m) the amount which the consumer pay for the article.​

Selling price of the article is calculated by -

Selling price = cost price (1 + profit rate)

Selling price = 24000 (1 + 15/100)

Selling price = 27600 ₹

Tax received by state government is calculated by -

Tax = Selling price × rate of GST

Tax = 27600 × 12/100

Tax = 3312 ₹

Hence, the state govt will get 3312 ₹ in terms of GST.
