2) Write five differences on the three states of matter?
3) As we know that solids can not be compressed. Then why sponge is called solid even it is compressed? Explain
Answers______
1)Particles of matter are very small.
Particles of matter attract each other.
They are constantly moving.
They have intermolecular spaces between them.
2)Difference between solid,liquid and gas
solid- solids cannot be compressed.
They have very very high force of attraction.
They cannot flow.
Liquid-Liquids cannot be compressed.
They have less force of attraction.
They can flow.
Gas- Gases can be compressed.
They have very less force of attraction.
They can flow easily.
3)Sponge is a solid as when we press it,it is compressed as it changes its shape but when we remobe the force from it and stop pressing it regain its shape. so we can say sponge,a solid*****

1) How does perspiration help keep our body cool on a hot day?
Ans.Sweat helps cool you down by releasing moisture onto your skin. But that's not all that's going on. On a hot day, your sweat evaporates from your skin taking a little bit of your body heat with it. Take a look at your wet arm.
2) How will you demonstrate that water vapours are present in air?
Ans.Take ice cubes in a beaker and kept it open place for some time. You will notice that around the beaker there are some water droplets. This droplets formed are due to condensation of water vapor around the beaker. This confirmes the presence of water vapour in air.
