Blood platelets are only found in the blood of human beings and mammals in which nuclei are absent, while their structures are spherical or like an exoconvex disc.

Whenever any part of an organ is cutout then blood outbursts and flows out but after a short time this blood appears like a jelly and it is called the phenomenon of blood clotting.

If Platelets will not be present in the blood then the blood will continue bleeding and due to high loss of blood, a person will die.
