we know the CSA of cylinder = 2piR2h

it said open at the  top that means = 2piR2h-piR

Radius of cylinderical vessel = 56/2= 28 cm

=2piR2h-piR

=piR(2Rh-1)

=22/7(28*2*h-1)........................1

rate of 100cm2  at the rate of 0.2rs= 352

=352/100*2=0.704

=0.704=piR(2Rh-1)

=7040=22/7*28(56h-1)

=>7040=4982h-88

=>7040+88/4982=h

=>1.4 cm =h
