to prove: angle QPR = 1/2 angle QTR

proof: by exterior angle property in angle QTR

angle p + angle q = angle PRS

angle p + (angle 1 + angle 2) = (angle 3 + angle 4)

(given angle 1= angle 2 and angle 3= angle 4)

angle p + angle 2 angle 2 = 2 angle 4

angle p = 2 angle 4 - 2 angle 2

angle p = 2(angle 4 - angle 2)---eqn. 1

again by exterior angle property in angle QTR

angle t + angle 2 = 4

angle t = angle 4 - angle 2---eqn. 2

from eqn. 1 and 2

angle p = 2(angle t)

1/2 angle p = angle t

1/2 angle QPR = angle QTR

[hence proved]
