3x-5y=-1--------1 equation
2x-y=3----------2 equation

multiply 1 equation from (1) and 2 equation from (5)
so
3x-5y=-1
10x-5y=15

       subtract it

3x-5y=-1
                                            10x-5y=15
                                          --------------------
                                          (-)    (+)   (-)
                                         -----------------------
                                           -7x=       -16
