hey mate here is ur answer

Let length of room =l

perimeter of rec. room =2(l+b)

200m=2(l+40m)

200/2m=l+40m

100m= l+40m

100m-40m=l

60m=l

hence length of rec. room =60m

area of rec. room = l×b

=60m×40m

=2400m^2
