Answer:

 Number \:of \: tiles = 36

 Cost\: of \: polishing = Rs\:594

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of a triangular tile:

a = 3 cm, b = 4 cm , c = 5 cm

(By above measurements shows that it is a right angled triangle .)

 Area \: of \: triangle (A)\\=\frac{1}{2}\times product \: two \: sides \: other \: than \: hypotenuse

=\frac{1}{2}\times 3\times 4\\=3\times 2\\=6 \:cm^{2}

Let\: number \: of \: tiles \\ required = n

 Area\:of \: room = 216 \:cm^{2}

 n =\frac{Area \:of \:the\: room }{Area \: of \: each \: tile }

=\frac{216\:cm^{2}}{6\:cm^{2}}\\=36

 Cost\: of \: polishing \:1\:cm^{2}\\area = Rs\:2.75

 Cost \: of \: polishing \\ 216\: cm^{2}\\ = 216 ×Rs\: 2.75\\=Rs\:594
