When a bullet of mass m and charge q is accelerated through potential difference of V volt, then it attains a kinetic energy equal to qV.

∴ kinetic energy of bullet =  qV

 →   \frac{1}{2} m v^{2}  = qV

 →    V = \frac{mv^2}{2q}  ..................................................................(i)

Given, m =2g = 2*10^-3 kg  ,q =2μC =2x 10^{-6} C  and  v = 10m/s

Putting this value in equation (i),we obtain

 V = \frac{2 *10^{-3}* (10)^2}{2*2*10^-6} =\frac{200}{4* 10^{-3}}

                            = 50 * 10^3 volt

                            = 50 kv [Ans]
