When days = 12, work done by A = 1
When days=1,work done by A = 1/12
When days= 5, work done by A&B=5
When days= 1,work done by A&B = 1/5
Work done by B alone=1/5-1/12=7/60
so B can complete it in 60/7 days
It is approx 8.57 or 9.
So B can complete it in 9 days approx.
