A car is moving at a rate of 72km/hr. How far does the car move when it stops after. 4 seconds?

hey mate here is ur ans
first,convert to same units
to convert speed in km/hr to m/s multiply 5/18

speed in m/s=72*5/18=20m/s
time=4s
distance =speed*time=20*4=80m

Assuming it starts at 72 kmph and hits a dead stop:

Divide 72 by 60 for distance per minute.

So, 1.2km per minute.

1.2km is 1200m and 4 seconds is one fifteenth of a minute.

So we want to solve 1200/15.

It is 80.

80 metres.
