A car travels a distance of 200 Km from Delhi to Ambala towards north in 5 hours . calculate(i) speed , and (ii) velocity, of the car for it's journey.

speed=distance/time=200/5=40km/hr
velocity is 40km/hr north

velocity=displacement/time
speed=distance/time
here distance is given but displacement doesnt means distance=displacement
speed =distance/time
speed =200/5
 speed=40km/h=displacement
