A container is one fifth full of water.If 40 litres of water is required to fill it up completely then what is the capacity of the container?explain in detail

Let the capacity of container is = x litre

x = x (1/5) + 40

x - x/5 = 40

4x / 5 = 40

x = 200 / 4

x = 50

Capacity of tanker = 50 litre
