Answer:

time=6hrs

convert into sec=6*60*60=21600sec

power=1000w

energy used in 1day=1000*21600=21600000J

units used 1day in kWh=6hrs*1kw=6kwh

cost=6*3.5= Rs.21

Answer:

Just considering above mentioned charges

60W actually stands for 60W-Hr.

So does the 1 unit of electricity; which has value of 1kW-Hr.

Now for single hour total consumption in terms of units of electricity can be calculated as,

60/1000 = 0.06 units of electricity

Now 10 hours a day, so

0.06 × 10 =0.6 units of electricity

For a 30 days month,

0.6×30=18.0 units of electricity

And hence the value

18 × 3.5 = 63 rupees only.

Thanks for reading, hope you got what you looking for.

60 x 10 = 600 watt hour consumed. But 1000 watt hour equals one unit. So, 0.6 unit consumed x 3.50 =

Rs 2.10

1 kwh = 1000 W

Bulb Rating =60 W = .06 kW

Bulb illuminates for = 10hrs/day

Bulb consumes units( kWH)/day= .06×10= .6kWH/ day = .6 units/ day

In 30 days = .6×30 = 18units

1 unit cost = 3.50/-

12 units cost = 3.50×18 = 63/-

Therfere Rs.63/- has to be paid in a month
