The water level in the tank will drop by 11.4 cm

Solution:

Given that,

Diameter = 35\ cm\\\\Radius = \frac{35}{2} = 17.5\ cm

Volume = 11 liters = 11000 cm^3

Let initial height = H

Final height = h

The volume of cylinder is given as:

volume = \pi r^2 h

Then, according to question,

\pi \times 17.5^2 \times H - \pi \times 17.5^2 \times h = 11000\\\\\pi \times 17.5^2 ( H - h ) = 11000\\\\961.625 (H - h) = 11000\\\\H - h = 11.4

Thus, water level in the tank will drop by 11.4 cm
