HEY HERE IS YOUR ANSWER .

CP of cycle = ₹1250
MP of cycle = 40 % of CP + CP
= 40/100 ×1250 +1250
= 500 + 1250
= ₹ 1750
MP of cycle = ₹ 1750

Discount % = 8%
Discount = Discount % /100 ×MP
= 8/100×1750
= 2/25×1750
= ₹140

SP of cycle = MP - Discount
= ₹ 1750 - ₹ 140
= ₹ 1610
PROFIT = SP- CP
= ₹1610 - ₹ 1250
= ₹ 360

PROFIT % = PROFIT / CP × 100%
= 360/1250×100
= 144/5%
= 72/5%
=28\frac{4}{5} \%

HOPE IT HELPS ☺☺
