Hi,

Weight of the empty drum = 55 / 4 kg

According to the problem,

Weight of the drum with full rice

= 241 / 6 kg

it means

( weight of the empty drum + weight

Of the rice ) = 241/ 6 kg

55 / 4 + weight of the rice = 241/ 6

Weight of the rice = 241/ 6 - 55 / 4

LCM of 4 and 6 = 12

Weight of
the rice = ( 2 × 241 - 3 × 55 )/12

= ( 482 - 165 )/ 12

= 317 / 12 kg

Therefore,

Weight of the rice in the drum =

317/12 kg

I hope this will useful to you.
