Time after which Elder son will get the amount =18-14=4 years

Total Amount deposited =Rs 50,000

By the condition,

x + (x×5×4)/100 = 50,000

x+ x/5 = 50,000

6x/5 = 50,000

x= (50,000×5)/6=41,666.66
