A field is 225m long and 175m wide. It has two roads of width 5m one parallel to its length and other parallel to its breadth running in the middle. What is the cost of levelling the roads at Rs. 3 per sq.m

Area of road 1 = 225x5 = 1125 sq.m
Area of road 2 = 175x5 = 875 sq.m
Total area of 2 roads =1125+875 = 2000 sq.m
Total cost of levelling the roads = 2000x3=Rs. 6000 /-
