A force if acts for 10 seconds on a body of mass 10 gram after which the force ceases to act. The body travels a distance of 50 m in the next 5 second. What is the magnitude of applied force?

m = 10g = 10/1000 kg

V = 50/ 5 = 10m/s

10m/s velocity gained after applied force.

v = u + at

10 = 0 + a × 5

10 = a × 5

a = 10÷ 5

a = 2 m/s²

Now,

F = m× a

F = 10/1000 × 2

F = 2/100

Force = 0.02 Newton
