A girl observes the motion of a crab which makes a forward motion of 2 cm and
reverse motion of 1 cm every time. If it takes a time of 1 second to move 1cm,

to move 2 cm forward time taken = 2 sec
to move 1 cm backward time taken = 1 sec
so
in 3 sec it moves 1 cm
so, in 12 sec it moves 4 cm
on the next second it reaches the 5 cm mark from starting
so total time taken = 13 sec
to move 1 cm backward time taken = 1 sec
so
in 3 sec it moves 1 cm
so, in 12 sec it moves 4 cm
on the next second it reaches the 5 cm mark from starting
so total time taken = 13 sec
