Let the cost of horse be 'x'
Cost of cart = 1/3*x = x/3
Horse + cart = 1600
So, the equation is
x + x/3 = 1600
4x/3 = 1600
x = 1600*3/4
x = 1200
So, cost of horse = 1200
Cost of cart = 1200/3 = 400
Check-in
Horse + cart = 1600
1200 + 400 = 1600

THANK YOU
