A light ray is incident on a plane mirror making an angle of 45o with respect to the surface of the mirror. What is the value of the angle between incident ray and reflected ray?

the angle between incident ray and the surface= 45°
angle of Incidence = 90-45
=45°
angle of Reflection = 45°

Hence the angle between incident ray and the reflected ray =45 +45 = 90°

 Angle of incident ray is 45
angle of incident ray equal to angle  reflected ray so, ∴ reflected ray is 45°..
