Let Total income=₹x
Spend=50%
Donate=20%

Total spend=(50+20)=70%
Left=₹600
A/Q
x - (x \times 70\%) = 600 \\ x - (x \times  \frac{70}{100} ) = 600 \\ x -   \frac{7x}{10}  = 600 \\  \frac{10x - 7x}{10}  = 600 \\  =  \frac{3x}{10}  = 600 \\ x = 600 \times  \frac{10}{3}  \\  x =2000 \\  \\ total \: income = 2000 \: rupees

Suppose man's income is 100%. Now he spends 50% from his income,

100% - 50% = 50%.

So now he donates 20% again from his remaining 50%.

So 50*20/100 = 10

So now the remaining balance is

50% - 10% = 40% of the income.

the remaining balance is 40% of the income .

As per the question,

40% of income = 600

Now 1 % of income = 600/40

So 100% of income = 600*100/40

= 1500.

Hence the total income of the man is Rs 1500
