'sweet tooth may lead tooth decay' .explain why?what is the role of tooth paste in preventing cavities ?

And then it will result in decay as the bacteria will do it's roleplay. Now toothpaste contains base, which just neutralizes the acids released by some bacteria afer decomposition of sweets and hence preventing tooth decay. When a person has a sweet tooth, they tend to eat foods that are artificially sweetened.

Hey!!!

Not only we humans but bacteria are also sweet lover.when we eat any sweet it sometimes gets stuck in our teeth,then bacteria performs action and turns sweet into acid which deacy the enamel of our teeth.

Well,toothpaste is basic in nature that neutralize the effect of acid in our teeth preventing cavities.
