A marble tile measures 12cm × 10cm. How many tiles will be required to cover a wall of size 4m by 3m?

area of tiles=12×10=220cm
area of wall=4×100+3×100=120000cm
number of tiles=120000/120
=1000tiles

area of tile = 12*10=120cm
area of wall = 4m * 3m 
4m= 400cm
3m= 300cm
= 400 * 300
=12000
number of tiles required =12000 divided by 120
answer = 1000 tiles
