Here's your answer...
Let the number of hens be x and the number of buffaloes be y.
Since each buffalo has 4 feet and each hen has 2 feet...
2x+4y = 180
x+2y = 90
Since both hens and buffaloes have 2 eyes...
2x+2y = 120
x+y = 60
x = 60-y
Substituting x's value in the first equation...
60-y+2y = 90
y = 30
x = 60-30
x = 30
So there are 30 hens and 30 buffaloes
