A person is standing in between two huge walls he beats the drum the first and second echo are heard after 1 and 3 seconds respectively what is the distance between the walls if velocity of sound in air is 330 m/s.

x=330x1/2
x=330/2
x=165

2(d-x)=v x t2
d-x=v x t2/2
d-x=330x3/2
d-x=990/2
d-x=495
d=495+x
