area of rect plot = L×B
                         = 125×75 =9375 m²
now. when path is excluded, then length will be 125- 2×2.5 =120 m
breadth = 75 - 2×2.5 =70 m²
 now area of the rect plot without path = 120 ×70
                                                               =8400 m²
so area of path =(total area - area without path)
                         = 9375- 8400
                         = 975 m²
