C.P. of 80 articles = Rs 2400

C.P. of 1 article =  \frac{2400}{80}

We know that profit % =  \frac{S.P. - C.P.}{C.P.}  * 100

16 =  \frac{S.P. - 2400}{2400}  * 100

16* 24 = S.P. - 2400

⇒ S.P. = 2400 + 384

⇒ S.P. = 2784

This is the selling price of 80 articles

S.P. of 1 Article =  \frac{2784}{80}

= Rs 34.8
