\textbf{Solution}

\textbf{Time taken by simple pendulum = 42 s}

\textbf{Number of oscillations made by it }= 20

\textbf{As we know that}

\textbf{Time Period =}\bf \frac{Total \: time \: taken}{Number \: of \: oscillations}

\small\textbf{Now putting the values we have}

time \: period = \frac{42}{20} \\ \\ = 2.1 \: seconds

Thanks

Have a colossal day ahead

No. of oscillations completed by the pendulum= 42

Time taken to complete 42 oscillation= 20 seconds

Time period= No. of oscillations completed/Time taken

Time period= 42/20

= 21/10 (cancelled by 2)

= 2.1

Time period= 2.1 seconds
