Given V=40m/s
(a)
P.E = K.E
mgh = 1/2 m v^2
gh = (1/2)(40)^2
h = ((1/2)(40)^2)/9.8
h = 81.632 m
hence, at 81.632 m kinetic energy is equal to potential energy
(b)
m = 10 kg
P.E = mgh
P.E = 10 x 9.8 x 81.632
P.E = 8000 J= 8 KJ
