a sumof Rs 800 amount to Rs 920 in 3 years at simple interest. if the interrest rate is increased by 3%, how much would it amount to?

P=800Rs.

A=920Rs

T=3years.

R=x%

SI= (P*R*T)/100.

A-P= (P*R*T)/100.

920-800=(800*x*3)/100.

120=2400x/100.

120=24x.

x=120/24=5%.

New rate= 5%+3%= 8%.

SI=(P*R*T)/100.
=(800*8*3)/100.
= 19200/100.
= 192Rs.

A= P+SI.
= 800+192.
= 992Rs.
