Hey buddy your answer,

SO, The initial velocity is =90 km/hr  and we should convert it into m/s

thus, this would be 90 *5/18 = 25 m/s.

The final velocity is 0 m/s because the train finally comes to rest.

Acceleration = -0.5 m/s^2

So to find the distance we should follow the steps:

we should go with the third law that is = 2as = v^2-u^2.

2*-0.5*s=0^2-25^2

-1* s = -625

s=625

So the train will go 625 m before it is brought to rest .
