VA is the velocity of the train = 57 km/hr
VB is the velocity of the man = 3 km/hr
relative velocity is VAB = VA _ (_VB) = 57+3 =60 convert to km to m
60×5÷18 =16.66
we have to find time
V= d/t

t=d/v =120/16.66=7.2sec

The answer is 7.2 seconds

Explanation:

Length of the train = 120m

Speed of the train = 57km/h = \frac{95}{6}m/s

Velocity of the man = \frac{5}{6}m/s

Time = \frac{distance}{velocity}

= 120 ÷ \frac{95}{6} - (-\frac{5}{6})

= 7.2 seconds
