to find :

find the number of tiles

solution:

area of verendah = l×b

area of verendah = l×b = 50×12

= 600 sq.m

area of tiles = l×b

= 6×5

= 30dmsq.m

as we know that

1 dm = 0.1

30 dm = 3 m

area of one tiles = 3msq.m

total tiles needed = 600/3=200.

hence 200 tiles are needed.
