Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

___________________________

Let the gallons the tank can hold when it is full be x.

Therefore, it currently has \frac{3x}{4} gallons of water.

If 2500 gallons are drained then it has \frac{x}{3} gallons of water.

According to question:-

\frac{3x}{4} - 2500 =  \frac{x}{3}

LCM on left hand side:-

\frac{3x-10000}{4} =  \frac{x}{3}

Cross multiplication:-

9x - 30000 = 4x

Transposing:-

5x = 30000

x =  \frac{30000}{5}

x = 6000

So, the tank can hold 6000 gallons of water !
