The radius of the semicircle = 441/11 cm

Area of the square formed by the wire = 992.25 cm²

Let side of the square be a.

=> Area = a²

=> a² = 992.25

=> a = 31.5 cm

The length(l) of the wire is equal to the perimeter of the square .

l = 4a

=> l = 126 cm

Circumference of the semicircle (radius = r) formed is equal to the length of the wire.

Circumference of semicircle = πr

=> πr = l

=> r = 126/π

=> r = 441/11 cm

Radius of the semicircle = 441/11 cm
