we know area of parrelogram=height x base
now
area of parallelogram=height from vertex A to BC x length of BC
area of parallelogram=9 cm x 18 cm
=162 cm^2
area of parallelogram=height from vertex C to AB x length of AB
162= height from vertex C to BC x15cm
height from vertex C to BC=162/15 cm
