After Blenheim is an anti-war poem that talks about the various battles fought during the eighteenth century, especially the Battle of Blenheim. After talking about the battles, the poem concludes making the readers ponder on why the war was fought and its consequences. It even questions the fact whether the war was ever needed at all.
